well, this is the generous, kind, and smart professor Cypress. you meet him at the beginning of your adventure, wich starts in Autumn town, where he greets you and tells you all you need to know about Pokemon. then as the game progresses he calls up you and your rival, ITS AN EMERGENCY! he says that a mysterious man is going to Roshambo town's meusem to steal an important artifact. he gives you and your rival a pick of the regions starters. then he teaches you how to catch, fight, and run away from Pokemon and stuff like that. as you embark on your journey Professor Cypress is always their to help. some other things to know about Professor C. - he is very clumsy

has a big green Afro ( kinda based off of a cypress tree ha XD)
brother is evil scientist who works for team tectonic
