This is a photograph I took. I tried to make it so it looks like your looking at my penis from below. Don't forget to commentRelated content

I am so annoyed with the freaking nude art haters. It is somewhat true that sometimes even I, myself, can't tell the complete difference, as the two seem to sometimes go hand-in-hand.
But this feels so casual - like a documentary to how one feels a certain comfort of being able to be nude around the house, without a second thought.
The way you've angled the camera does feel a bit odd, but being that it captures and open door in the background, I feel as if that security you have within your own home might be threatened.
The shape of your wrist, thigh, and torso looks well composed.
Uh.. only thing I'd say, would be that the light reflecting on the door frame is a bit over-whelming and is distracting my view on the main subject.

just make sure the background doesn't take your eye away from the picture itself, easiest is by making it black or white, after that you can make it more difficult, for example by using special lighting

Imagine what could be worse than people taking pictures of their genitals and claiming it art. Yup.

It is art, unless I was jerking off in the picture like it was a porno.

Perhaps, who am I to say after all, I can barely draw a stick figure. Maybe I have just "undeveloped" taste for art..

Lol, awesome, I used to draw sickmen. Well, it's alright, not a lot of people understand erotic art.

Erotic Art? My friend THIS is erotic art:

The thing you just posted is an excuse to show of your average wiener. Why I say this? Mainly because it's true.. The composition of your picture is poor - the quality is bad (I know, not everyone got a good cam..)and you've got NO meaning with it?
Kinda lame..
You're saying you've taken the picture from below, if you're doing this to create a feeling if either "Worshipping" or penis or create an idea of being the one under it (blowjob) - it infact IS pornographic and therefore isn't art.

Actually that's just ignorance on your part. If you really want to gain a better understanding and appreciation for nude and erotic artwork I suggest you be the one to do some research.
Right now you're just taking thoughtless, ill-composed, and poor pictures of your privates.
No thought, no artistic attempt, etc is in any of your nude photographs. It's not hating when we genuinely are giving some critique to the work.
I recommend you read a more traditional artistic nude book called The Victorian nude: sexuality, morality, and art By Alison Smith and then a more modern book called Nude Photography: The Art and the Craft By Pascal Baetens, Pascal Bruce
You might learn a thing or two instead of blowing other people off who genuinely understand the differences here.

Ok, I admit, I'm not putting any thought in the photos.
I just like to show people my body. And if they like it, than why take it off?
I don't need to read a book because I know how real erotic art and photography is like and how to do it.
But I just don't have the time, neither the expensive camera.

First, if you like to show people your body then go somewhere else. This is deviantART not deviantPictures.
dA isn't an image hosting service or a facebook or what have you.
Clearly you don't know what real erotic art is because if you did, you wouldn't be defending these pictures of your genitals as such. I tried to give you some resources but really, read something, or study some well-known pre-existing erotic art to gain a better understanding. Explain to me how you just "know" what real erotic art is. Have you done some in depth research? Did you study abroad? Did you get a fine arts degree? Did you study with a master as protege? Needless to say all these are not required to produce the work but surely your interest in subject should warrant further investigation. It's really a crime to hinder yourself this way.
You have enough time to call your pictures "erotic art" and defend them but you don't have the time to dedicate your time to understanding the genre properly? For someone who's looking to get into the erotic art scene you need to dedicate time to both. An artist isn't just a creator of things, they are a creator ideas and a researcher of topics and thought.
P.S. You don't need an expensive camera to make great erotic art. In fact limitations in your resources can bring up the best in your work sometimes.
