Description Titanius-Raven Guard Captain, "The Daemon Slayer", "The Intervention", "The Thunderer" all names given to him over the years in his service to the God Emperor. During his early training he promised great abilities, his dexterity and reaction time, along with quick thinking made Titanius a perfect Assault Marine candidate. Durning a campaign against a warband of roving orks he showed that he proved himself with every shot of his boltgun and slash of his chainsword. Battle after battle Titanius showed more and more potential and recieved many comendations which eventually gave him the honor of becoming a Vanguard Veteran. He was inspiring, rallying his fellow battle brothers into many battles that would seem suicidal. He and his squad would drop in the middle of an enemy unit and leave shock and awe in their wake. Like a hammer of God raining down on the foes of the Emperor. His squad was given the nickname "Angels" for they had saved dozens if not hundreds of battle brothers from complete destruction by falling from the sky in a screaming glint of light to protect those who needed them. Only one drop had gone wrong and yet it was the drop that made Titanius famous among the Raven Guard Chapter. Still purging orks, the Raven Guard gave the Angels orders to infiltrate the enemy stronghold and assassinate the ork leader. While the orks squabled over who would be the next warboss, the Raven Guard would push their assault. During the drop, AA guns opened up on Titanius and his squad. The orks knew they were coming, but how? An ork shaman had predicted their drop and warned the others of their attack. The Angels had to split formation to avoid being torn appart by the enemy guns. Titanius followed orders and flew towards the target location where the ork leader was supposed to be located. Taking a look back to see if his comrades were behind him, he saw one get taken down by one of the crude guns. As the one marine fell, so did the others begin to be taken down. They fell like heavy stones towards the planet and Titanius could do nothing but watch them fall to their demise. He began to shed a tear behind his Mark IV helmet, but his heart was soon filled with rage. He had to complete his mission, not only because he was ordered to but because he had to avenge his fallen brothers. Crashing through a weak part of the wall, he landed in the warboss' thron room, gripping his storm sheild and power sword which crackled with violent energy. Looking up he saw a large ork, standing almost nine feet tall with an iron jaw, a red bionic eye that seemed to stare through Titanius' soul with lethal intent. The ork's right arm was made of crude machinery with a vice-like claw that gnashed as if it hungered for nourishment. "So youz da wun who da shaman told me aboutz", the ork spoke with a deep, thundering voice. "He said der waz gonna be a bunch of yuz!", he roared as he crushed a nearby gretchen slave who was mindfully carrying the warboss' ammo for the uneccesserily large gun on the ork's back. "I wonted a challenge! Ow am oy supposed to av fun wiff dis little umie!?", taking a step forward towards Titanius with annoyance. "Oh, I'll make it a challenge for you, monster!", Titanius shouted as he pointed his power sword at the oversized ork in an almost defiant manner. "My orders were to kill you and I will not fail!", he said as the thrust generators on his back began to fire up. He soared across the room like a jetblack streak of lightning. Crashing his storm sheild like a battering ram into the ork's head, he plunged his sword into its arm where the bionics connected to shoulder to hopefully disable the ork's weapon. The force of the impact knocked the ork onto its back. It roared with enraged frustration. Titanius jumped off, ready to make his next move. "I thought you said you wanted to have fun?", Titanius said mockingly as the ork pulled itself to its feet. "Yer dead meat umie! Oym gunna mount yer ed on me skull rack!", the ork charged, swinging its still operational claw. Quickly ducking under the ork's bionic claw, he took a mighty slash at its right leg. As the ork fell for the second time, Titanius repositioned himself. The heavy ork fell headfirst onto his sword. It was over, his mission was complete. He voxed his commander, who began the final push to eliminate the last of the orks. Titanius said a prayer for his fallen brothers and left the stronghold. For his acts of courage and honor in the face of almost hopeless danger, Titanius was promoted to the rank of Captain of the Raven Guard and gifted to special thunder hammers. One black, whose machine spirit was vengeful and hard to tame. Another white, peaceful and loyal to its master. Titanius named them Death for the black, and Life for the white. He soon became their rightful master as he proved his abilities as a true Captain of the Raven Guard.
