I propagated cuttings from my eucalyptus mint. I don't know how this variety is called officially, as I can not find an eucalyptus mint on the internet. I got it from someone who had a lot of mint varieties, as I just wanted to try out some other varieties besides the standard mint. This one really has a strong eucalyptus and mint smell. Great to use in a sauna and such. I did not yet make tea from it.
It is also one of the more hardy varieties, as it got the least amount of leaf damage from insects and such, together with the ''black currant'' variety.
I still want to try a ginger and banana variety and I saw that someone sells a ''fig'' mint. The pineapple and apple varieties do not smell like pineapple or apple. Besides the ''eucalyptus'', the ''strawberry'', ''black currant'' and ''cream and berries'' varieties I have do smell a lot like what they are named after.
The black currant one even tastes a bit like black currant, which is my current favourite.
