Griff and Grillo are cat-like perverted aliens whose only experience of earth has been through accidentally tapping into earth's internet from their home planet. As a result they believe human behavior reflects the kind of dirty stuff they're seen online. they're particular fans of the 'Sharking' genre, much to Clarissa's chagrin.

Clarissa is a scantily clad (as is the common fashion for future) space-punk journalist and adventurer, who has been sent out to explore alien planets and send reports back to earth. She encounters Griff and Grillo on her adventures and they become her constant companions and cameramen, sometimes helping her, but mostly trying to get footage of her naked in what, they believe, is a normal earth custom
