I listen quietly.

So that all my pieces
Will stay together."
I kiss her silently

She says such beautiful things to me
She says things I've always wanted to hear
Yet it doesn't change a thing for me

And I leave with her scent on my shirt
And her love on my sleeve
And there's nothing in my heart
