I am happy that you like it !
Actually, this is pretty much plain photography! It's very, very simple:
The image on the background is a frame of the Rebuild of Evangelion II being displayed on my iMac. It is the primary light source, actually, as Mari's fill light is provided basically by reflected light.
There's quite a bit of post-processing in lightroom, but that's basically it.
Since there's no need for much detail on Mari, this kind of lighting delivered the kind of image I was trying to get.

Kinda like a silhouette because the iMac is rather bright and create a cast of silhouette around the figure. I get it now, it is quite easy like you mention. I love easy work producing high impact artwork.

Yes, it is bright and I have exposed the photo to the iMac screen. Mari was a little bit too underexposed, but this was easily corrected in post-processing.
Thanks

Do some more of those type of images.
I never try to do that because I'm such a photo manipulation junkie hehe I change a lot of stuff and ended up with around 15+ layers later~ Come by and check out my stuff. Let me know if you like any. Have a wonderful night~
