Something ridiculous with my OC, Lucien. I felt like challenging myself to properly "paint" something without my usual lines and then threw in a background. This challenge did not extend, however, to pretending I understand light sources at all, so where the light is coming from is your guess as well as mine. I suspect Lucien pays his tailor extra to purchase light-eating textiles so he can walk about in darkness to appear more intimidating, something for which I am grateful as it saves me effort. His fashion seems to change based entirely on which late-nineteenth-century era I'm enjoying right now and right now that's somewhere between the 50's and 60's.

The background is a photo I took in 2008 in the Louvre of one of the Napoleon III rooms, cheapened with a few filters.
