I couldn't help it;; I WAS supposed to be busy right now;; but I just decided to finish this cause I really wanted to draw thisA while ago I was a total fan of this song called "Matryoska" sung by Hatsune Miku and Gumi (song: written by Hachi)[[link] ]
Since I am a great fan of this song and love 's OC, I decided to do a fan art that combines them both~!!
This pic was started before I posted up that "November absence" Journal LOL so ;; don't be too angry with me~
The shading was done pretty simply;; (the original artwork had barely any shading done to it at all) and if you think that the proportion might be a bit off; then you might be right cause I wanted to draw in a way to capture the feeling of the song and not really focus on proportions
the City drawing took forever... and then later I just copy/pasted the same pic and re-arranged them;; lol

Have you heard the song yet?? My favorite version is Guriri's version~ I think I may have sent it to you by email once~~
what's really funny is that this is not detailed compared to my previous pics~
like;; the only major details were the city in the BG (well most of the hard part was the BG;; but to have skipped it; would have destroyed the purpose of the song;; so;; I had no choice but to draw those little buildings)
The characters themselves, I moved onto the final line art quicker, cause this time I didn't care too much about proportion, but focused more on the expression, feeling and the 느낌/attitude of the song~ (I literally listened to the same song over and over while drawing this~)
if you notice, the line art is made purposely really messy~ (and that made it easier~ I'll prolly do that to my future works instead of trying so hard to draw one straight clean line)
Also, since the original art had nearly no gradient and shading;; I bearly did any shading for this one
in many ways, this piece was easier, more enjoyable and rather effective~^^

I noticed the simpler shading~ I didn't notice the "messy" lineart as much, but that's a good thing rite?
