Singly and hands down, this part cemented David Tennant as the Doctor that would stay with me forever. As much as I adore Matt Smith and consider his stories to be absolutely brilliant, my emotional attachment lies with Ten. He was the first TV character to make me cry in a very long time, and it was his last moments, tragic and poignant as they were, that did so.
Even if it wasn't intentional, the fact that his right hand was the first to begin glowing reminded me of that triumphant moment in his first episode: "It's a fightin' hand." And subsequently made me even more sad than I was before.

I had to tell my gf what happened during the episode the Stolen Earth ....when she found out about the Daleks..she freaked...then started crying when 10 got shot.
then when he said 'I don't want to go' we got chills and just sat there tearing up.
