Description
What can I say, I got the sudden and inexplicable mental image of England with a space ship sticking out of his head. XD Poor bloke takes quite a beating from alien invasions, especially around the holidays (hence the snow), but I'd say he has a very good Doctor to help patch him up. XDOf course that won't stop him from blaming the Doctor for whatever misfortune happens to befall him by turning up in the first place. I can already hear the colorful language he'll be muttering once the Doctor takes off.

It's from a Japanese webcomic-turned-animated-short-series called Hetalia. It's mostly comedic in nature, and a lot of the humor is based on assorted national stereotypes, historical in-jokes, and the occasional pop culture reference. It's quite fun, and there's a lot that can be done with it on the fandom front, as I imagine you've seen.

Thanks. XD England must have a knack for getting stuff from space stuck in his head. The Doctor really does have his work cut out for him.

It was only a matter of time. England's bad relation with Tony would later lead to more terrible relations, luckily the doctor was there to help him through those times

Lol yes. XD I didn't think of that, but that could very well be what happened. Suppose America would know anything about this incident?

XD Thanks. My original idea was a short comic that ended with the Doctor leaving and then, after he was gone, England calling him a git or something similar. Thanks to my laziness though, it's now up to the imagination.

I would've love to see that in real life. Just some random British guy in his jammies yelling after a disappearing blue box.

Hopefully. Who can hate one of their greatest cultural icons? Just two more years till Doctor Who turns 50. And Iggy had best come to the party.

Oh yes! If he's under the influence he may try coming up with ideas for new episodes. Ideas that would probably frighten even Steven Moffat. XD

HaganeOkami In reply to Quintaria [2011-06-24 15:10:59 +0000 UTC]
XD Indeed. Glad you enjoyed it! England does need a hug after all this. Rampaging shop window dummies, Slitheen ship crashing into Big Ben (which... now that I think about it... OUCH), Sycorax on Christmas, Daleks and Cybermen at Canary Wharf, Racnoss the next Christmas, space Titanic almost crashing into Buckingham Palace the Christmas after that... you could go on and on with this.
I can't bring myself to blame the Doctor though. Trouble just seems to follow him around. XD Luckily he seems to have given England a break this year, since he spent Christmas on a different planet.
