I used Paint Tool SAI

EDIT: Soooo I've just found out that the colors on this look waaaaayyyy different on my laptop than it does on my computer's monitor. I made this on my laptop and now I'm kind of regretting doing this on my laptop... orz
Anyways, Im sorry if the colors look strange/off on your monitor but it was so much better looking on my laptop Q_Q

To begin with, he's just ADORABLE.

yay a critique! i'll make sure to fix the eyes. i was having the same thought too about the irises ^_^
and im not quite sure to do about the background to be honest. do you have any suggestions to help me out? :3

Yup, their shape and everything is great, but I think you should just add some shading, lighter at the bottom and darker at the top to make them stand out more. :3
I'd definitely lose the fuzzy purple airbrushy part. It's too soft and a little sloppy looking, I think, it clashes with the clean, crisp lines of the centerpiece. The purple's too bright as well. It detracts from the main art and pulls the eye away, especially since L is made up of not very vibrant colors! I'd either lose the background entirely and have it transparent, or make a non-airbrushed background with a base color of a not-very saturated blue, I think. You could go for an outline (hard brush) with that, or maybe just let it be a solid rectangle, plus some embellishments. It's up to you. C:

i would just leave it white but you could also try a black background with a white outline around L (like just now) but male the black fill the page...
