very gritty line work emphasizes the pose and expression here. her lip falling down on the right side of her face adds a little to that as well. I love the composition here, the tall, narrow page. Neato!

Wicked! I love the gritty feel you come out with this, even though I wouldn't say it's realistically illustrated; lines are loose and proportions are a bit "cartoonified", but that's what I love about it, you were able to evoke a hard, nasty, gritty feeling via an art style that isn't typically hard, nasty, and gritty. And your colors help a lot too, except I do feel maaaaaybe some bits of it may be rushed. Maybe it's me, but the spots of light and dark on her neck, especially, feel rather... random?

I keep leaving your gallery ..and coming back just to look at this mostly. It's so eye catching! Just something about it snags hold of the viewer and fastens them into place. She's such a hard, staring look.. like the woman can see right through you. Then the colors, that blue is absolutely gorgeous! The free, broad lines are very refreshing to see.
