The Imps live for the laughter they inflict upon their captives, so the one is just playfully nibbling and licking her toes to get her giggling uncontrollably. Silly Imps!

Great design on the imps. Are they based off anything or did you come up with them yourself?

Wish I could take credit for the Imps' design, but he original model the Imps come from is called the Power Pixie created by a company named 3d Universe. I started playing around with that model's settings, found I could make its wings disappear, reshape the face and ears, and then changed its coloration to the reddish purple (or purple red... whichever you prefer) you see. I was really happy with the outcome. The little buggers look scary, but have an almost evil playfulness about them. They remind me a lot of the "gremlins" from the movies, which is what I was hoping for.
