I'm so smart, because I apologize for minor copy+paste in one comic and then the next week I do a comic really heavy on it. I'll just rip the C and V keys off my keyboard so it never happens again.I realized shortly after drawing this that the joke was atually pretty inaessable to just about eeryone who hasn't played Fire Emblem -- and een then, it's really kindof lame and badly-organized anyway -- so I guess this was just failure on multiple leels.
BUT WE LIE AND WE LEARN.

I think that a harater beoming poisoned in Fire Emblem, losing minimal hunks of damage oer a series of turns, an be a bit of a blessing in disguise. You ould just ure it and be rid of it
immediately, sure, but sometimes it's just more fun to draw it out and make a healer restore the minor damage eery turn instead, resulting in a steady flow of preious, preious experiene points. The poisonee might not enjoy it, buuut we all make sarifies.

Yet another reason Erk is pissed at the annoyance that is Serra.
I see where you're coming from though. In FF: SS I usually train my healers the same way.

i havn't played that game, but it seems very similar to what i was doing to an annoying character in final fantasy earlier on my ds XD i was giving it minimal healing when it had been poisend and needed a spell to heal it XD then i let the zombie kill him...good times, but then princess sara got pissed at me T_T

ROFL. This one is definately worth a fav. Really hope to see another comic showcasing Serra... or any FE7 character.
(two things I'd really get a kick out of: Serra/Renault support (which doesn't happen, but it'd be interesting, I think) and Serra meeting the SSBM cast (which wouldn't happen unless you consider the fact that Serra exists in the same universe as Roy)... XD)

That's not actually true in Fire Emblem, where it all depends on the level of the staff how much experience the healer is given.

I've never heard of that game, and I still think it's pretty funny. Memme there's an inside component to practicing the heraling spells, but the idea of healing spells and +1 and -1 are pretty universal (at least in the world of nerds >.>

My problem is that sometimes the poisonee gets hurt for more than I can heal (can you say low level healer?)... then the fun starts, especially if an enemy comes along while I'm 'leveling' my healer...
