Part1 over hizz-hurr....Okay, I couldn't resist adding to the last one. Fighting on the open sea is an altogether ridiculous concept, especially when the combatants are rocks.
I'm...I'm not a very good Pokemon Trainer.

I totally agree... If I sent out my Torterra, Chikyuu, against a Tentacruel on the way to the Pokemon League, and I'm surfing on my Mantine, Chikyuu would sink. But alas, this is a world where mice shoot lightning bolts.

Yah...I always wondered about this problem too. I was like WTF? when I played my first pokemon game. I came to the conclusion that the pokemon your surfing on serves as a platform while you swim in the water offscreen.
