Description Any suggestions would rock. Really. I'm just kinda bullcrapping this all.

EDIT: I'll be changing this file as I go instead of constantly uploading new deviations.

EDIT 4.19: Neck has been shortened - comparison pic provided. Full body finally shown (obviously much more work to be done.) Haven't been working on it as much as I should.

Also: YES, the neck is long. It serves a purpose symbolically.

aww. I think the long neck looks better with the rest of the full body. That's just my opinion though. The style matches better since you have long limbs and a long, slim body~the long slim neck looks good. Again. My opinion.

The neck, despite being long for a purpose, is a bit too long. It looks like he can super extend his neck... or is related to "Long Cat." But three fingers over the neck at the base of the back to the front of that little blood spatter. That's about how long his neck should be.

If you want him to look emciated and hungrier... well I think you're doing fine without extending his neck. He's clearly a sickly sort of starving creature. Though I imagine if you really wanted to you could try to make his face look more taunt.

*shrugs* that's just my honest opinion.

I do really think that the shortening of the neck was a good move. It seems to ground the picture in some sort of reality even if it isn't.

I am curious, are you going to make the tail scraggly to match the botth neck fur that's been tipped in blood or are you going to have it more smooth like the back of his neck?

Oh yes, the whole body will be pretty scraggly. What I have on the back of the neck is just a base.
