They're wonderfully bizarre. Natasha can spend all day *magically* summoning grilled cheese sandwiches, then sleeping it off. John in my game loves cats, every time I've played with him he wants a cat.

Those Sims. Did you try the merge neighborhoods trick? That's what I did so all the pre-generated families could live in one big neighborhood.

I haven't tried merging 'em, no, but I downloaded the Megahood and that worked pretty well. I wound up with some strange couples, too, like Johnny Smith and Lilith Pleasant, and Alexander Goth with Vidcund's daughter, Greta House (whom I told you about in another comment). Some of the premade sims I liked so much that I tried re-creating them in TS3, but they just didn't turn out right.

Cool. Some of my most oddball pairings were: Darren Dreamer x Titania Summerdream, Tybalt Capp x Angela Pleasant (she even got to meet Tybalt's grandfather before he died and oddly two had a decent chemistry score together), and Nervous Subject x Isabella Monty (which is ironic since her husband beat him up and after he died, Nervous married his widow, they adopted two kids and he got a huge chunk of her money when she died.)
some weird glitch that when that one Curious brother who is pregnant and the baby also had the oldest son of the Broke family's DNA so they were both the daddies.
