I wanted to do something with this photo, so I decided to play around with gradients. It really is just an experiment with tools, nothing too serious.Related content

i like it dahlink! it's a really nice picture... very good composition.
The only thing is, I feel the gradiant takes away from the picture itself. The picture seems layered underneith the colour, so the contrast is lightened.
My best suggestion would be to make the colour on a different layer then set it to 'multiply'
unless it is, and i'm just wrong.

I tried multiply, and it just looked wrong. The picture itself wasn't much at all, so I decided to just experiment and try to take it from nothing to "something". Like I said, nothing too serious. If I was seriously going to submit this picture as something totally perfect, I definitely wouldn't have added the gradient. This is probably something more suitable for scraps, but I needed to add something to the account.
And colours make me happy.
