I think this image is very successful, in that it does a good job of balancing some rather tricky elements. Color vs. pale skin, dark vs. light, and also the positive and negative spaces. I really like the little flecks of mascara, and the way the color of the iris is enhanced by what it is reflecting.
I will most definitely be picking up this print once I get my paycheck, on Friday.

Beautiful. I love it. Still photos of the human eye are hard to do. But I think you got it. Delicate colors are great too.
