I know some of you are probably eagerly waiting for some more IZ pictures while still remaining loyal to me in my new endeavors. Just to let you know, Irken stuff, OAPR stuf, is on the way! But in the mean time, this little comic is for you guys.
I'm not alone I'm sure in the mindset that I'd like to draw more pictures of the Meekrob but simply can't out of lack of information about them to base it around. I think this has been the issue with lots of artist, so little is known about them that any OC is going to naturally have to have a whole creator-based idea of the entire race as a whole behind it! A big job.. believe me, I'm having to do the same thing with the Scymanteria.
So what I've done is taken my well established setting of Vort Station #9 and simply involved Meekrob in it's normal activities. Here we meet another Irken scientist.. what's his name? Who knows, I was too lazy to name him!
But he's your average asshole Irken so let's just call him "captain cuntstick." The watchers with the best memory might remember his cute little Vortian assistant who he's constantly abusing. If not look at this comic here: [link] Yeah, he's finally got a name so that's cool huh?Ignoring all the story filler, this comic is really focused on this new weapon in development. The first weapon the Irkens have created that's actually effective against Meekrobians, this could spell doom for the Resisty's allies if this weapon works as good as it claims! Could it's prototype take the notice of the Resisty? Will it ever be used in combat? .......well I'm gonna leave you other artists to decide.
That's right, this gun I'm creating, just like the shrinkray and boobification ray, is going to be public domain and completely open to use to my fellow IZ artists if they so choose. ^^ I merely ask for credit in the artist discription and at most a note telling me about it so I can SEE your work hehe..What does the weapon do exactly? Sadly you'll have to wait for the dramatic conclusion of this comic's second part to find out, but dont fret, I already have one whole page after this one done.
Partly for fan-fare and and partly because it would make sense, Ukengrazer is in this comic..how do you like her lab get-up? She's there to evaluate the weapon's effectiveness and accept it to proceed into mass production or not. You'll really learn to hate her in this comic.. if you don't already. XD

Not too hard really, just draw a flowing body with long limbs, small hands and what look like fin-like feet. Then draw a kind of -

Oi, that's okays, my OC has a buddy who's Irken and a whiz at anything electronic! *Grins* The Meekrob's name is Spermermernk, and the lil' Irken is Jypyry. He's very protective of her and treats her like a little sister.

So great to see Uken once again, while I do not miss your Irkens too much, as your original works are much better, Uken is always a part that is hard to let go... : D I really do like how she is there to examine the work first-hand. I am sure she also sends up morale as well, who wouldn't be at their best and most patriotic behaviour around her?
I always do like how evil you make her, and I am sure I will look forward to whatever you have planned for her to make people think of Uken as being even more of a sadistic bitch. I mean, she loves tasting the five flavours of hell and striking fear even in her own comrades. I can only imagine what she will do to such 'inferior' being that dare tries to shows their self-warrented 'existance' toward the master, great Irken race and its almighty Empire! Speak Irken or die!
As the others have said, it is good to see that you still have Irkens down to the exact style still and manage to do it better than Jhonen himself at times. Not to mention you have his own sense of dark humour at times, like naming the asshole Irken "Captain Cuntstick" up there. XP I wonder, I wonder what that gun is going to do...

You're the only person here on DA to actually say honestly that they like my original stuff more then my IZ stuff, thank you man.. you can't imagine how good that feels to hear. <: )
Well it just made sense, I mean whenever you see a proposed military weapon being tested there's always a General, or a group of officers there to observe the test-fire. But you know, I kind of figured Uken the type that most people would be afraid of insecure around. XD
Well you'll just have to wait and see what she does, personally I think Kas-Cei should think himself lucky that he's assigned to 'assist' captain cuntstick there. Because if he was that close to Uken without some form of reason I think she'd probably execute him on the spot.
Yeah well after you've drawn something for so long I think you just always remember how to draw it. XD It's burned into your mind and chizzled into your bones...

I like Irkens and all, but there is something more appealing about something this original.
Uken does seem to be the one to volunteer to witness a weapon of mass destruction.

I literally designed captain cuntstick just IN that first panel as I went.. he kinda just..got made. XD I really didn't put any thought into him.
Wow Nivv'Noxx.. that's a really cool name! But what do you mean you can do something with them now? What have I done to help that? XD
Well of course they wouldn't APPROVE of it, Owen doesn't approve of the stuff SHE makes.. but it IS her job and if she doesn't do it the empire will replace her with someone that will. XD That's why Owen tried that "Project Mercy" idea for a while trying to make non-lethal weapons.. though they were usually used lethally anyway by the troops.

Well it always seem to me a big No No for Irkens to do everything bad like weapon experiments with a living creature on DA.
Despite the fact that Irkens in the show did not seem to have a moral compass.
I have nothing again the humanation of the Irkens on DA.
But it nice once in a while to go back to its tv roots and seeing them doing what they do best.

I have a guess as to what'll happen to that Meekrob. And it has my sympathy.
Hey, good to see a new comic from you! And Uken's back, along with the charismatic Captain Cuntstick (try saying that three times fast). And a cool new gun, and an original Meekrob design. This stuff's gold.
I totally feel you about the Meekrob. I'm more interested in the Planet Jackers myself, who have scarcely any more background, so I've got the same problem. I had to come up with a religion to justify their actions and everything!

Oh yeah! The Jackers are totally awesome, that's like my favorite episode! It's cool because Zim for some reason acts very different in that episode then in any other...he's like.. kinda actually a little smart sounding. Oo Plus the humor is different, its more comical and less random which I love.. plus Gir is more cute and funny then his usual annoying in that one.

My guess is that the weapon will drain enough energy from the Meekrob to force it into its corporeal form, which will look rather painful. A second weapon will then actually kill the poor thing. Ukengrazer will be pleased, either making the call to kill it herself or ordering the weapon in bulk afterward. Or both!
Hard to say. The 'hair' and whiskers just seem different on yours here.
Yeah, that's one of Zim's higher-performing episodes. He uses himself as a distraction and everything! Also, there's a scene where his eye (not his contact, his actual eye) pops loose on impact. The awesomeness is worth ignoring all the fridge logic at the end of the episode.

Well, I'll let you have this little detail, I don't know if the draining part is painful enough, you can't really tell. So I guess you can decide if it is or not. 
I don't understand! When I look at the Meekrob in the show they TOTALLY have whiskers! At least they look like they do to me. I added a little magical look to it adding the little 'dew drops' on them. : P

I must've missed the whiskers. They're on screen for like 1.5 seconds.
Oh, sorry, that's kind of writer's slang. 'Fridge logic' is when something makes sense at first, but then later on you're looking into your fridge for food or something and you'll suddenly think of it again and be like, "Wait, what?" In this case I'm referring to how Earth is moved like halfway to the Planet Jacker sun without any consequences or anybody noticing. And then it's all back to normal next episode, of course.

I like your idea in this that they turn semi-physical if weakened enough as a defense mechanism. Cool idea

Oh yes, maybe you remember the poor little electrically challenged Meekrob in the hospital? Yeah he's semi-physical there but his body has a problem where it wont recharge.. hence the machine he's hooked to.

Well, it's like with the Irken fanverse, we all got so many different ideas and theories we use about the Irkens. But true, we got more about them from the show than about the Meekrobs.
I just wanted a good contest idea for the group and I realised, the only reason it was hard coming up with a fitting idea was because we knew practically nothing about them

I believe during the end credits when they're going through the voices it lists their voices as "Meekrob voice - 'somone'" that's how we know.
