This is a little sketch based on the Ranting (2) Gryphon's stand-up routine called "Toaster Abort Buttons" which can be watched here:IRL version: [link]

I know it doesn't really make sense realistically, since the stand up is about NEW toasters, but I've been a long time fan of 2's work and anything about Toasters..well.. I've GOTTA draw fanart for that right?
It probably isn't obvious, but the effect I was trying to go for is that the button kinda just flew in and slapped itself on Toaster's face. XD

On a cool related note, my mother came home from the thrift store today with an authentic 1950 chrome toaster. XD I have no idea what we'll do with it but it's pretty neat. I don't think I've actually ever owned one of those before. If my patent knowledge is accurate, it says the earliest patent date is 1953, so it can't be any newer then that I think.

It's kinda funny because you can push the levers back up XD Thing is, I don't know if a classic toaster is BUILT like that. People don't generally prepare for people making ACCIDENTAL toast.
Poor Toasty XD It does make a cute nose, though. HAHA, but, I'd totally buy a toaster that has a big red button that says 'ABORT'. It makes it a teensy bit more awesome <3

I think you've got that switched around, they started out letting you just pull the lever back up at any time.. it's nowadays I wonder if they even let you cancel it without pushing a button. XD
He's got his own little clown nose now.. but if you push it a random fetus somewhere on Earth miscarries. (yes I'm evil for that)

DUDE, a friend of mine totally chucked one at me the other day and I was all "YESSS RANDOM BUTTERFINGER" and attempted to eat it right then and there but it was severely broken from hitting my face and then the floor and it was messy to eat :< At least I could just hold the wrapper over my mouth and dump the contents in XDD
No, I was talking about old toasters with the first statement too XD I know, it sounded like I was saying that pushing up the lever was a groundbreaking new feature. I was saying, I knew you could do it to a classic toaster, but the question was if it was build to be pushed back up XD Like a CD dock, I was always told as a kid not to push it because that was bad for it, even though it worked.

There are two types of computer n00bs... People that fuck with everything on the computer, and people that don't do anything beyond pushing buttons and edit NOTHING. If there's a button that closes the CD dock then heaven FORBID you deviate from that D8

My dad's actually a pretty cool dude when you get past his dad-ness XD He was in the Navy, and did all the things in his childhood I wish I could do... He was friends with a punk rock girl (the kind from the day of age) whose room window was inches from his, so they could just climb back and forth XD His whole life sounds kinda like a story... God I envy him XD

What makes this even funnier is that his boyfriends fursona is called Toast. So every time I hear this routine now, I can't help but imagine a big old abort button on Toast the Bunnies face, that,or 2 screaming at Toasts parents to abort him XD
