What's important to remember about feminism is that it's an umbrella term. There are lots of different forms of feminism, and you can't really talk about it like it's all one thing. When people say they are "against" feminism, what they actually mean is that they are against the militant forms of feminism. But those same people would most likely agree with the more benevolent, equality-orientated forms of feminism.
Also, it's important to look at the whole picture. We must give feminism credit for the good it has done. If it weren't for those feminists long ago, women probably would not have a fraction of the freedoms they have today.
It's also important to realize that there are some negative forms of feminism out there too. For example, there are some "feminists" who go around telling other women what to do. People can't go around telling women how to live their lives, and then go and call themselves "feminists".
As for me, I support female rights and male rights. My reason is that both genders get more than their fair share of shit from society, so both genders need to be spoken for.

I'm a woman who is against what feminism has become. The original concept of feminism is that women are EQUAL to men. Anymore, it's become more about women being BETTER than men, which isn't true. The idea of one gender being better than the other is what caused all of the issues that "feminists" are trying to solve in the first place, but they're doing it by using the same tactics than mens used to keep women "in the kitchen" so to speak. I'm a woman who's not desperate for anyone's approval, but the generalization of this stamp bothered me, so I figured I should place my two cents. Should men respect women? Of course.
