Yep. This is a really crappy version of my TNBC fan-character Amber. This picture, I admit, looks WAY better than any other time I tried drawing her, but it still doesn't really look like Amber! >< That's why I'm getting to redraw her! Go check out her gallery!! It's freakin amazing!!!don't cha luv the BG? XD I seriously took like, 2 minutes on that.
Well, I may as well tell you a little about her.... Amber is a girl who lives normally in our world, which in my story I call 2nd Earth. (I'll give the person who can guess where I got that from a cookie) She ends up in Halloween Town after falling through a portal she finds in the woods behind her house. (This is a different portal than the one in the movie. If anyone ever gets to read my story this is a really important detail.) Before she goes through the portal, she looks like a normal person, completely different than what whe looks like in Halloween Town.
She is a were-dragon when she first goes to Halloween Town, but when she gets murdered by Shock (explained more in story. ^^) and is revived as the undead, she finds that she becomes a dragon demon, able to change into her demon form when she pleases. The profile of her in the top right is her in her demon form.
Well, that's all I'm gunna explain for the moment, cuz in about a month or so I'll be posting her story. ^^

Uuum.. I think that she goes to Halloween Town and Jack takes her up and lets her live in the house. She proves to be a great artist so the Mayor makes her do banners and crap for Halloween, and she gets really popular and then Shock kills her for some reason. She gets revived by Dr. Finkelstein and becomes able to turn into a demon at will, and is able to control fire.. uum.. I think she had a bunch of stuff going on before she died with her were dragon form getting out and killing things... anyway, she has to go to the normal world sometimes to check up on stuff, and one time she accidentally sets fire to the portal and is stuck in the human world for awhile, and something happens where it comes back.. she's prety much the most MarySue character EVER.

That's why you work on the charicter, add some flaws. Like one of my OC's (This one's for Invader Zim), Cat. She was originaly going to be a MarySue. But that's how all charicters start. As a story starts to affect the charicter, the charicters reactions, thoughts, and personality comes into play. I didn't have a clue about this earlyer, and I wish somebody would have told me about this. I was really sad that my charicter was going to be a MarySue. But as I typed, parts of my personality and others started to leek into her.
After this last chapter (It's on FF.net), I relized that she will have flaws, they'll just be suddle in the begginning and work up to a breaking point later in the story. She loses her temper verry easly, she HATES Zim, she (sometimes) yells at Dib even though she's been his best friend sence they were about 7, she calls the rest of the world stupid, she's a bit sexest (She thinks girls are being put down apoun and a deleted part of a chapter was that she was planing a huge uprising of female soldgers to take over all the men.), takes things too seriously, and too much ice cream gets her hyper, (Here's a bad combo, Chocolate Ice Cream + Fave Movie (Beetlejuice) X Friday Night / (Devided by symbol) Dib = MASS MAYHAM!.)
See you just need to work on a charicter a little, don't give up untill you're starting to write. And even then DON'T give up on changing the charicter. The whole point of a story is how a charicter, that the story revolves around, changes. As long as the beginning is simple and you've got your ending, the middle can be what ever you want. Just as long as it connects A to B without getting confuzed yourself along the way. Write down stuff so that you won't forget and keep at it!

I'll draw you as an anthro! what's your animal?! please don't say wolf or lion or bat! wolfs are over used (to me), lions are SOOO not as good as tigers! every one draws lion but how many tigers do you see?! I think it's because of the stripes! and bats..... *shudders* I really don't think I can go there! (personal)
