Found a picture of it in teh internets and ordered a couple of them in the small studio that makes military patches.

Do you know if that is the same shoulder patch that Boone wears when he gets his armor? That's the costume I'm making.

Don't really know, sorry. I didn't play that DLC. In Fallout Wiki this patch was called "Standard NCR Ranger uniform patch".

Uniform was made according to the pictures from falloutwiki and ingame screenshots. I tried to copy all details like pockets and overall cut. Shoulder straps and collar I designed my self becuase they are covered on game models with scarf.
Webbing system is an old british 58 pattern. Ofcourse some american 2WW webbing would fit better, but I had this 58 so I used it. I'm going to add more pouches on it, because soldier needs way more things to carry. Especialy in desert. At least two pouches for flasks, two kidney pouches for food, big back pack for different things that might be useful, and more pouches for ammo and grenades.
Bandoleer is also custom made. Ingame one fits old short magasines for M16 and I'm using long ones, so it was made different from the original.
Putties is just long pieces of fabric. I coppied WW2 style of cut and wearing them.
Helmet is from random souvenier shop.
Beret is from swedish army. Don't know any details. The colour was just what I nedeed so I bought it.
Net scarf is modern military one.
And if you want to know my opinion of how NCR soldier must look like - he must be well equiped and carry ammunition that will help him to survive in desert and combat. Don't just copy ingame models, but add some parts by yourself ))

Thank you. Color differs from the original because of the purpose of the costume - for the LARP game. There I'll have to move and shoot a lot. And we don't have deserts in Russia, so I'll have to blend into the green surroundings. Also this is why I changed the shape of the bandoleer in the way that it will fit magazines for the M16 rifle.
