Just a campfire. I thought it looked nice. Fire is so entrancing when you just stare at it.. makes you think about a lot of things you don't always want to think about.Related content

Personally fire petrifies me. I...I just, I dunno. I'm always afraid I'd get burned or something. Yeah, it's kinda weird lol >_< I don't think I'd go as far to call it a phobia though. Because I DO think fire is beautiful - I just don't like the idea of what it's capable of doing with very little effort DX
Anyway! That's a pretty shot you got there! I could imagine it must've been hard to capture, with the way it dances about wildly lol

It petrifies you huh? Hmm.. I love it very much. I guess thats just cause I'm a pyromaniac lol. I play with fire.. make it dance between my fingers and all that.. I once lit my whole coffee table on fire (now THAT freaked me out lol).
Oh I would love to be like OH YEAH THAT WAS SUCH A HARD SHOT! But al I did was click the fire setting and take the shot lol >.< Thank you!!

Well I'm not like a horrilbe fire maniac stay away from her type of person.. I just like playing with it a lot lol.. I don't think I could burn myself alive.. unless I was just playing with a lighter and then caught my clothes in it or something.. but I'm not that careless ^_^

I like crackling sound you hear when you're near a fire...they are nice to look at when they aren't out of control. @__@

Fire's hard to catch well on film. You caught a pretty good shot, to get a sharper flame I think the shutterspeed needs to be faster..
I haven't had lots of fire to experiment with....

well my camera isn't that great when it comes to adjusting shutter speed and such... its more of a -if you have a lot of light it can get a great picture but good luck in the dark- kind of camera. Sucks for how much I paid for it -_- I had two other shots that were a lot sharper but I liked how the flame was elongated vertically in this shot.

Understandable, I have shots like that too.
You can try fiddling with the exposure setting on your camera, it might help you get some better night shots, though a tripod may be necessary in that case.

Yeah the only time I can do night shots is with a tripot and it has to be still images... its sad cuz I would love to be able to take pictures of nocturnal animals in motion.. but thats a sad dream. It takes a 3,000 camera to do that
