A bit cliche... but meaninful (at least to me) non-the-less. This is actually a necklace that I wear every day.. I refuse to take it off.. well except for when I took this picture. I just wish for this once that the jewel wasn't there... I feel it distracts from the picture.. but ohh well what can ya do.Photo taken by me with limpy(my olympus sp-500 uz)

Dude!! What a flashy dev! So you just tweaked a couple of colors and magically got the cross to SHINE in all it's holy glory?! It's so prettily frail and luminent, I love it! Beautiful work with contrasts there
The only one teeensy little crit I could give is the text at the top left! Maybe you should've placed it to the top right and have it dark, that way you play with it's meaning because the "There is Light" does that really well - it's brought out on the dark colors of the photo and it's light font color - so why not have the "In all things dark" on the light part of the photo with a dark fontcolor? It would work really well with this piece that is based on contrast

yeah the cross was naturally dark in the middle so when it was inverted everything just sort of went the way I wanted it to lol. All I did was add the little shine in the middle of the jewel.
I get what you are saying but I think that would defeat the purpose of this pic. Its not supposed to be showing the contrast of dark and light, its showing that there is light regardless and that is what needs to be focused on. I think if the text on the top left was on the right instead it would throw the balance off of the picture.. and I am very OCD and unbalanced means migrane and panic attack for me lmao.

well I inverted the colors... originaly the cross was dark and the flower was shadowed around it.. so yeah... change-er-roo and then you have a glowing cross! Lol.
