I completely agree. Sonic is a video game character made to appeal to kids. I liked the cartoons better when they were made to appeal to kids. They were written better and the cast was much more fun to watch like Scratch and Grounder.

Yeah, totally. The thing is though, is that nigh unto all cartoons back then were written better than the ones today. I wish they'd still air stuff like the original AoStH and the like.

The film industry (especially in the US and UK) is such an unfortunate mess of lame favouritism and non-originality these days. It all looks exactly the same, or is completely pointless and mind numbing.
I guess thats why my favourite cartoons are always from foreign countries.

Exactly. Most people scream for new, and that's what they get: pieces of garbage that are new, albeit thrown together in twenty minutes. No character/plot development whatsoever.
