Geek Chic Daily, called my webcomic GATES: "The Island of Dr. Moreau and 1984. On Acid."
The site launched on 10.31.10 and the comic publishes weekly with a new page coming out every Tuesday and articles and other fun posts relative to Gates are being published on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Gosh, I love it. Absolutely. All those details are overwhelming.
I hope you don't mind a few questions:
What brushes did you shade with?
What kind of layers did you use? (Normal, Multiply etc.)
How long did it take you to make this?
I'd be grateful for answers.

Here are the answers to your questions
1) I use custom brushes to get the shading and final skin details. I have a series of pore brushes I use that are awesome. I also use several layers and the blur tool and guassian blur a lot as well.
2) Normally I use normal layers, however, this painting came started from an original ink drawing that I used a multiply layer on at first to color it in, then painted on top after I filled in the color
3) It took me about 24 hours or so. I wasted some time n her outfit because I wasn't sure about the design or color and I needed it to be simple, yet not to familiar, so I played with lots of things that didn't work at first, which wasted at least 6 hours or more.
