Description This is a green version of the Zeenupod image. The story changed, so the colors had to. These are giant glowing plant creatures.

I am also the creator of GATES: Heavy Metal Magazine's FIRST Online comic. Gates is written and illustrated by me (Hal Hefner).

That's incredible! It's like something out of a Miyazaki film--especially because it's a plant creature. It reminds me of the creatures from Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. Very cool!

Thanks man, I love that movie and it's a huge inspiration to me and my art. It's an honor to hear you see that. Very cool!

Thanks Lumysaara, it is loaded with detail. It's actually a very important point in my graphic novel too. Belive it or not those creature are basically giant, organic vehicles and creatures pilot them from inside...they are plant based as well, hence the green chlorophyl glow.

Once you really sit down and look at this image, you come to realize how epic the whole setting and happening is. Adding those cliffs and the man standing on the edge was a very good idea, as they act as a reference point that helps you comprehend the gigantic stature of those glowing... things.
Wonderful!
