On the first day of Halloween Jack Skellington gave to me...an eyeball in brain spaghetti.
Well I don't know if anyone else has done this... or if anyone else thinks it's funny but I'll see if I can finish the song before the month is out. It was a pretty fast drawing and all of them are gonna have to be with the limited time and increasing quantities. well anyway....

epic success I was really irritated with the white stripes on his suite which is why there were only like 3.5 of them, it'd be fine if they were red or black but NOOO they gotta be white the only color you DON'T get in a marker set

You could always use white out! Or tape. x)

for th markers. If you put tape over the parts you want white, and can color over it with marker, and then peel the tape off-there ya go, white lines.

that's gonna have to be really thin tape... and really gentle tape that won't kill the one-sided-rain-forest-destroying-resource-wasting-planet-annihilating-generic paper they print the assignments on

I recently tried using an eraser gaurd (a template with little lines in it so you can erase certain things) on Jack's costume, and It didn't work at all. DX (I tried to draw Jack, I failed but Is till tried xD)

Some of the songs are good, but out of them the LEAST good, is 'What's This' by Flyleaf (..WAY TO SLOW) and 'Jack's Obsession' by Sparklehorse. They just don't pull the song off well. It depends on what you like or not, because I-like Marilyn Manson's cover of 'this is halloween', but some people hate it with a passion because it takes away from how awesome the original song was. But eh xD

alright it should be a crime to make "What's This?" slow A CRIME!!! how about any other Jack solo songs? was the beautiful voice of Danny Elfman (I LOVE THIS MAN) marred in anyway?

Hm, I don't believe so. Only the two songs I mentioned really irked me. Some of the songs are completly (or..like 95%) instrumental anyways (such as the Oogie Boogie song, which sorta bummed me out xD)

oh no stupid CD the instrumentals are my favorite, i sing loudest with them that's also how i practiced for my drum major audition for marching band... and also probably why i didn't make it :7P

Instrumental songs /are/ good, I /do/ like to listen to them, i just wouldn't have minded seeing the songs covered in a way that wasn't instrumental.

and like how else would you cover them... maybe for the Jack and Sally montage you could have like a full choir singing the pitches that'd be really eerie and everynow and again when one of the sung themes pops up there could be a solo singer singing the lyrics softly and then fall back into the texture... but other than that i can't think of anything

xD the slashes are replacing italics. They sometimes replaces asteriks, but in this case its replacing italics. : P
Well, I see how the Jack and Sally montage fits, but then there's Oogie Boogie's song, which probably could have been covered fairly easily, and yet for 97% of the song its instrumental (there is a sound bit part buts its so hard to hear). As I re-listen to the songs, for whatever reason, 'Jack's Lament' seems to be a song that Skips..easily. Even on Itunes it skips. Also, the 'Town Meeting Song', as I re-listen to it, is fairly to dramatic for the moment-but I like the ending xD

huh that's weird Switchfoot has a track like that on one of their albums and everything is pretty smooth and suddenly you get voodooooododododo but it's subtle enough to almost pass as like a planned synthesized thing

yeah boo, it was probably a recording issue like the mic was over loaded or something nothing the rest of us can do about it
