Description
Color-tests for a story of mine, "Bittersweet Busters".Bittersweet Busters is a Magical-Girl-story heavily inspired by Lovecraft lore.
So far, I've only uploaded ideas for the monsters in the story but now, as the title implies, I did some tests to see what works for the characters.
Here, the Protagonists:
Her (single) father was an alcoholic, which was a frequent cause for disputes among the two of them, so she is indeed no stranger to verbal conflict even before her untimely end.
Though she wants to believe, deep down, that fighting for humanity is a good thing, she also questions how justifieable (and how possible) their struggle against the Starspawn truly is.
While on the surface, she seems like a very friendly but reluctant girl, her demeanor hides a deeply cynical world-view: the world sucks, humans sucks and you probably suck, too.
However, she sees this is as no excuse to make a crappy world even worse. Her actions as a magical girl are guided by the principle that you should do good, even in the face of overwhelming injustice.
He has a crush on Merle. Shortly after a (rejected) confession, he meets her again in her magical-girl-form.
Isaiah soon becomes friends with the trio and tries to help as best as his non-magical abilities allow for.
In reality, he is an eldritch entity from space who seeks knowledge and deeper understanding of human nature.
His true allignment as well as his motives remain in the dark.
Any input is appreciated.
What do you think about the colors and characters?
