I was thinking about the upcoming A-Kon 22, and how the theme is supposed to be "Space Opera".

And I was thinking of drawing Evil Rao from Okami...

I wound up drawing a futuristic Evil Rao. So what do you guys think? Pretty cool?

I turned the beads and part of the top into a set of humongous shoulder plates with blue glowing edges and a red light, made the outfit a bit more... sleek, is that the right word?, and turned Ninestrike into a partial beamsword. The kitsune mask also has glowing red eyes and lights on the cheeks.

I had a story idea in mind for Okami where Amaterasu and Issun are sent to a dark future Nippon, where very few people believe in the gods anymore and it's all sci-fi (because I'll admit, I'm a science fiction NERD). Should I do this story and use Futuristic Evil Rao in it?
