Just a little self portrait.That is my new hair.
Many thanks to my housemate, Kristina, who coloured it. Apologies in advance for when I fail to wash it and look after it all nice and proper.
I had a rather amusing conversation with my mother.
Me: I've gone blond, mum! Its all rather confusing!
Mum: I'm not confused. You were actually born blond, you might recall.
Me: Yeah, but 4 years of being red... one gets confused by these things.
Mum: I have a long steady memory. You were blond for 18 years.
Me: Fine! Dis-regard my identity crisis! See if I care!

I really, really do! Mister Jeff, do you think I might borrow a tripod off of you? Bits of mine fall off and the camera is always slipping down. It is scary to watch whilst posing.

Can I just put it out there that its a really bad idea to dye it red again after all the torture it's been through to get blonde .. we don't want it chemically burning off do we? And yes you were born blonde .. you should let it sit for a while and see how you go . hair colour doesn't make the man/ lady etc

No, there is some red in there. It is hard for hair to go from red to anything so she left some streaks of the red through it. And I don't think I could cope with straight blond. Big identity crisis!

So much daylight in Aus right now. I always forget the whole world doesn't go dark at once. Strange how simple realities elude us in favor of our perceptions.

I mean I know it, but when I'm sitting here in my preferred gloomy darkness, not directly observing daylight, and I see a picture "taken 15 minutes ago in the sunshine" I just did a little double-take. It doesn't help that I spend as much of my existence as possible in the dark. Dad used to call me a vampire before I moved out.
