Description
"Take your clothes off, won't you pleaseYou don't have to talk to me
Just leave the light on so I can see
That you've got everything I need"
- P.T.A., Pulp
Photographer: Of course
Model and MUA: Your host
Harm sent me two versions of this image ages ago because she couldn't decide between the two of them. I posted one and then today I was looking through old images and decided I had actually picked the wrong one so now I am posting the other.

Black, rust red and teal are definitely your colors!

Haha, how fortunate that I grew up in a house of those colours!

Actually, I'm really glad I read through the other comments first, because I was actually going to say exactly what the OTHER memeber of Team Hyphen Pants said.
I like the other one, because it's incredibly rare that we get to see your adorable tush. So I guess I either get to be person number two that gets away with it, or you can righteously glare at me through the computer screen for a while. Either way, I'm honored.
Actually, in all seriousness, I like the other one for another reason (as well, first reason still applies.) Its another rare thing for us to see you in that "harumph!" pose. I see you much more often in the calm, peaceful, mysterious ... laughing, confused, whatever look. More... upbeat. Seeing you express negative emotion offers a balance to the otherwise positive (or just plain, adorably loony) pictures that you take. And that balance increases the overall quality of your work.
Good to see you still poking around here. Hope all is going well!

Beautiful... for my birthday wish, I wish that all my conversations are as goofy, eloquent, and simple as the one we just had.
And that all women in my life are so very capable of making me smile with three words.

This one. Definitely. I love the expression on your face.

Love both of them, they both have the "mommy, the dolly just fell off the shelf" look to them. But I must agree, the other one shows your butt, so I vote for it.
Don't kill me.

I like the pose in the other one, but in this one the shadows/tones in your leg under the texture of the frills of the skirt and then the sleek patent of those shoes just had me sitting there for a good few minutes just staring. I keep coming back to it. The pale creamy colours of your skirt and your skin against the red is also beautiful.
That sounded like the most stalkerish comment I have ever made. Haha. Just enjoying art, I guess

Haha, I'm sure I've received more stalker-ish images, ducky. You have nothing to fear.
Thank you!

I like both of them, because to me they tell completely different stories.

I like this one better, because to me it's more mysterious.
The pose in the other one has a fairly straightforward range of interpretations that it suggests to me: the figure is dead, or dead tired, and one can imagine all sorts of reasons why that would be the case.
In this one, I'm more intrigued because I have to work harder to imagine what the story is; there's no obvious or easy suggestion of what's going on emotionally, though there are certainly lots of rich, suggestive details that draw one into the picture.
My own preference is for pictures that make me work a little harder to take them in, and that are therefore more interactive with the audience. Mystery rocks... and is very sexy in its own way

I think that I prefer the other one - because it appears to be more balanced and naturally posed (if that makes sense). Again, I really like your use of colour and styling.

Haha, it makes perfect sense but we were aiming for unnatural and manikin-like in both images. Both poses were exceptionally uncomfortable to hold, I can assure you.

I'm surprised that "Here comes the hardcore life" was so uncomfortable - but then what do I know, I'm no model!
Now that you've used the word "mannequin" I see both images in a slightly different light. I can't help but see a Blade Runner connection - aka Pris.

Look at the hips in 'Here Comes the Hardcore life'. It looks like there is a cushion propping them up but there wasn't. It was the angle of the hips which was most difficult to maintain there. I was holding them some 25 cms off of the chair.

Yes, it really does look (and that's what I thought you'd done) like you were using a cushion. Amazing stuff. All credit and respect to you.
