I don't think there's any point in it the necrons are already very similar to the prometheans so. U'd just end up with green skeleton prometheans

I mean, replace their human arms with Necron ones, add Necron looks to face, remove shiny skull and replace with Necron face.

Add Necron gauss rifle to arm. Add Necron ribcage to torso. Add spine, remove middle of 'backpack item'. Turn leftover Knight Backpack parts into wings. Darken armour colour.

It has it's differences, and since you know second-to-[I do not know] about Warhammer 40k, then you cannot easily compare both.

Necrons are ancient and powerful, used to be an empire, got turned (against their will, after some time) into Necrons via C'tan (Gods).

Prometheans were warrior servants of the Forerunner [Social] way of life, got turned into the type you know now because of the need to stop the Flood with uninfectable entities.
