CT-1991/8003: "No Thanks. I got it"
JG-FS: "Are you sure? That looks like it weighs a ton and I feel like a spare part just standing around"
CT-1991/8003: "Yeah, I'm good. You could get the door though if you want? Cheers"
JG-FS: "Major Ram'ser mentioned you didn't like to ask for help but I'm saying I can carry something if you want"
CT-1991-8003: "He said that? Bastard! I bring down one building on myself and all of a sudden I'm stubborn!"
JG-FS: "You brought a building down? On yourself? Should I be concerned about that?"
CT-1991/8003: "It happened once. I was trying to defuse an IED"
JG-FS: "IED?"
CT-1991/8003: "Improvised Explosive Device, a homemade bomb basically. Local terror cell planted it in an office building. A small office building. Major Ram'ser evacuated the place and I was busy working, got the timer but before I could disarm it completely the shabuirs set it off remotely. Barely managed to chuck it into the next room and duck before it went off. Local PD's knock-off signal jammer nearly killed me"
JG-FS: "Wait. So someone else set the bomb off remotely but you brought the building down? How?"
CT-1991/8003: "Because I didn't get the signal receiver. Silly me for trusting the local police chief to actually use the budget to buy equipment instead of lining their pockets. No, it's my fault"
JG-FS: "So what happened?"
CT-1991/8003: "Well, things went ti-things went south pretty quick. Turns out the bomb was supposed to be the go signal for the little revolution they'd been planning. The major dragged me from the rubble while the city erupted into chaos, kept me alive until our medics arrived"
JG-FS: "And the city?"
CT-1991/8003: "The locals weren't too pleased about a bunch of demented di'kuts blowing up buildings and shooting up the place so their revolution fizzled out after a couple of hours. If you ask me, they were just a bunch of idiots that visited too many dodgy holosites"
JG-FS: "I hope there wasn't too much damage"
CT-1991/8003: "Not much. Aside from the office, they burnt down a gaudy mansion, trashed a couple of store fronts and tried to storm the barracks. Only a couple of casualties. One guy ran over himself trying to use a construction drone to bring down a fire station and the other two were mauled to death when they let loose a Nexu from the zoo"
JG-FS: "Oh... wow... And is it always like that?"
CT-1991/8003: "Nah, usually it's just regular soldiering. You know, firefights and commando stuff and such. If you really want to help you could hold the door for us? Cheers, buddy"
