Description
Taking notes from the Republic and their predecessors, the Empire, the First Order adopted some of their tactics and set up specialised units. Sure, wave after wave of infantry can solve most of their problems but it's costly and they don't have a constant supply of quick grown clones to fall back on so they looked to some of their smaller and more effective units for inspiration. They needed a group that could move around behind enemy lines unseen, execute quick and brutal strikes before disappearing again, able to perform recon and engage in guerilla warfare and operate with a certain amount of autonomy. They needed rangers.

Unlike the GAR who would retrieve their ranger teams once their initial assignment was complete these teams would be left in the field for far longer, perhaps up to a year or more, all the while terrifying the locals with their savagery and ruthlessness. Fire and forget.

Not really felt like drawing much recently but I thought I'd force myself to give it a go. Kind of wish I'd done something else.

Anywhat, I did two rangers for the GAR, one for the Empire and now the the new bucket heads get a ranger class. Hooah and all that.
