[Arriving early at the Senate for a meeting, ARC Lieutenant [CLASSIFIED] noticed suspicious activity and proceeded to investigate. He witnessed eight individuals retrieving weaponry and attempting to place explosives (See attached file .02A/ reference "DIRTY BOMB") He followed standard protocol and alerted Senate security, instructing them to quietly lock down the floor and activate signal jammers, however they would not arrive on the scene for six minutes. ARC Lieutenant [CLASSIFIED] noted that he was the closest available unit and would engage the suspects and prevent them from detonating or placing any further explosive devices. Security records show he retrieved a rifle, combat vest, several grenades and ammunition from security checkpoint Echo-2-2 before engaging the suspects (attached file .08B/ reference Senate SecCam footage/Checkpoint Echo-2-2) Security teams arrived on scene approximately two minutes, fifty six seconds after ARC trooper Lieutenant [CLASSIFIED] engaged the suspects. Captain Halla Soryoba ordered her team to breach the chamber and move in. When they entered they found ARC trooper Lieutenant [CLASSIFIED] had neutralised the threat (See attached file .14F/Senate SecCam chamber-6XF345) he requested a medical team for the two surviving terrorist suspects, handed the scene over to them and left to attend his meeting]

Take a look at file .010S then tell me we're not lucky more of those ARC boys didn't defect. He took out six terrorists in under two minutes without anyone firing a shot, none of them even got close to the detonators.

Might want to skip 1:37-2:26 if you've not had lunch yet. I don't know if he grabbed that rifle in case he had to shoot something or if he was just having a bad day and wanted to beat something to death. Did get the other two talking though, I guess watching your friend get his head caved in will do that? They're gonna need a fantastic cleaning service to get brains out of that fancy carpet, should I recommend one? We could always do with some more surveillance devices in those private chambers

Outmanoeuvred by a damned piece of paper Another ARC trooper from years ago makes a reappearance and he's showing up the boys and girls in blue at the Senate. Neutralising a terrorist attack is a better way to kill time than reading a magazine or watching the clock. For an ARC trooper anyway

In my poxy little story/canon/whatever the "official" armour is kind of like their dress uniform, used for parades and meetings and such. Gives the civvies the impression that the war is a lot cleaner than it really is. This isn't long after order 66 so the troops are mostly kitted out in the phase 2 armour, but ARCs follow their own rules most of the time. Why should he waste time upgrading and getting the settings juuuust right on a new set of armour he won't wear that much?
