No female on female NSFW please (she’s straight), but happy with most other things. She’s not exactly the most moral of people. If in doubt just ask. I don’t bite… though Jora does XD

Personality:
Jora is essentially a caring person, but her trusting nature was shattered by a failed marriage and years of training with the assassins. She is an introvert, preferring to listen and let her actions speak for her, but thanks to her assassin training she can make herself appear more outgoing when acting on contract. She is a fiercely loyal friend, but is slow to warm up to people, and isn't very self-confident in her interactions unless she knows the person well, or is on a contract (there's something about knowing she can kill someone with a flick of her wrist that takes away her shyness). She is happiest when on a contract, as this gives her a purpose and a goal, and she loves the thrill of hunting/being hunted. However, she tends to ask a lot of questions before accepting a contract, and will only accept one if she believes the target is guilty.

Bio:
Born to a low-class farming family, Jora is the eldest child by three years, with a younger brother and sister. She was married young (around 16) to a travelling merchant named Duncan. They were travelling to his home town when he fell ill, requiring her to care for him for months. This took its toll on her, and she eventually became ill and depressed herself. When Duncan was well again, he became bored with her melancholy and left her for another woman. Jora didn't know what to do on her own, and was about to buy passage on a ship to take her home when the assassins found her. They made her well again, trained her, and helped her get revenge on Duncan. However, she had too much of a conscience to be the killer they wanted, and she eventually left them to become a freelance assassin/mercenary in a different city (not returning home for fear that it would put her family in danger).

Misc:
People from Jora’s world believe that cats are responsible for escorting the souls of the dead to the afterlife, and therefore hold special meaning for assassins.
Her signet ring was going to be a present for Duncan, but she kept it when he left her. She will get it engraved with something meaningful when she finds ‘her place’.
Women from Jora’s world lighten their hair before they get married (the equivalent of modern women wearing a white dress for their wedding), which is why hers changes colour part way down.
She would love to be a mage, but unfortunately doesn’t have a magical bone in her body
