Description
The lighting in this was kind of a happy accident I have to admit. I was comparing the different ambient light options between SSA024r and DEA0. I first rendered the complete image with SSA024r, and then just rendered the lighting DEA0 set to MaxL 5 and Rays 7. I liked it better, but only after boosting the Diff setting under the object tab. Then I did another complete test render with the DEA0 settings and it looked completely different. So I found I could only achieve this lighting by rendering SSA024r first, and then making my DEA0 changes post render... Confused? Doesn't make sense to me, but that is how this lighting was done.Created with Mandelbulb 3D fractal software~

Hey, I love that accidentally awesome lighting!Β Somewhat like a hotel I stayed at on my last flight to Aldebaran.Β At least I think it was, I was a little under the influence.

Thanks! I've been to 'under the influence', but not to Aldebaran~

Thank you. I know it's confusing. Essentially, I couldn't seem to get this lighting effect unless I rendered the entire image in ambient shadow setting 3 (SSA024r), and then just calculating the ambient shadow setting 4 (DEA0) after the main calculation was already done with ambient shadow settingΒ 3. If I tried to calculate the entire image with the ambient shadow setting 4, it came out differently. Don't know how else to explain it
