It kind of reminds me of the scene from Camus's The Stranger. With the sun burning above and all... but alas, there's no ocean. *ahem* I'll stop rambling, wonderful piece!

Let me just say this piece is awsome...
This reminds me of the coloring from GTA style artwork.

The lens (I assume) has this great effect, especially in this desert setting, where the background literally conforms to the view of the recipiant of that DEagle .50.

The heat is shown wounderfully by the color, clouds, and the curvature of the horizion, without the actual heat waves. I really like that, takes skill to pull off!

Great job, Fav for sure! I'm going to check ur gallery now!

Are you making comics? Where can I buy them? ^-^ I'm a comic nerd and prefer non-anime action.

Woot! This one is a solid piece of OC work - to the point that I thought it looked like a well-layered and executed vector! When I first saw this piece, the first thing that caught my eye was the extreme worms-eye perspective. It's like we're looking down the barrel of the gun along with the poor sod and your shadows are laid out strongly to give us that feeling. Secondly, it reminds me of a shot from a Western film, and that the gun-toting guy is similar to a Dirty Harry taking justice into his hands. Your colors, whatnot with the orange and yellow sky with the bright sun and the desert plain, make this more apparent.

I love your edgy style, and the minimalist selection of colors.

Simply incredible.. i love all the earthy tones. The perspective gives it a taken-from-a-movie look. I love it. Its so realistic.. I can hear the gun cocking with the score playing in the backgroud. Makes you think what Mr Silhouette did to get popped in the head. Lol.

This reminds of the ending scene from Seven. I love how you've used the lense flare. Usually when people use it, there's a tendency for the flare to make the piece seem amatuerish...but there is no trace of that here. Lovely job.

Very nice expression and perspective. There are the obvious flawed details in this piece, but as it is it's still great. I'm not going to be nitpicky about things cause I know that just pisses an artist off when they just did it for fun. All I'll say is great job and leave it at that.

What can I say Hamilton? You have made OC3 your bitch. Diggin the fisheye point of view. And the gun. That gun is hot.

Iunno. With the guy on the ground lookin like Brad Pitt, and because of the situation the two of them are in.. made me think of the end of fight club. Only kinda reversed.

Definitely not what you were going for. And they're not exactally on top of a building. And I doubt the guy with the gun is a schitzo. Oh well. Details...

Good job. As always.

Holy shit, that angle is fantastic... The sky in the bg is so wonderfully coloured, and I love how the light shines right down on them. The mood is great - sort of sorrowful/regretful mixed with an apparent tension. So many thoughts race through my head looking at this, wondering who they are, what brought them to this current state, etc. Really great work.

Desert Eagle .50...*drools* but yeah, those guns have wicked pull back when fired so the angle he's holding it at would probably hurt a lot. Love the perspective though. The fish eye affect really pulls you in. heh heh. nifty.
