I like this. But now I want to know what inspired it.

Appreciate it lady Calleig
While drving back from school, my daughter and I saw a cloud this past evening. I complimented on how beautiful and idea-rich it was.
Then suddenly a huge teen-age argument broke out on how artists want to seek concepts and ideas in anything they see. She then challenged me with a weird pine shrub with long spiky top branches and how uninspiring it looked.
I rendered this replica to show her what that tree was truly hoping to offer.
A silly but true story

Reading this makes me miss my Dad, but not my overly-contrary teen years. All of my "wrinkles" are laugh and smile lines, and I'll take them and be proud.
I have to say that I am sometimes guilty of looking at everyone and everything as potentially inspiring for a story. I do. But I don't do it consciously. It just kind of happens sometimes.
