Description
Ballpoint pens on Strathmore toned gray notebook. My scanner is acting up, and this result seems like it has lost half of its color depth.
Starting to look for a better scanner.

Thanks Princess!
Haha, yes the shades I also contemplated for a good few minutes whether I should also hang a chain and Bling necklace on it. But composition was already a bit off and those would add to the flaw even more

Wow! These are absolutely amazing! I just love smooth traditional art, and the combination of colors you chose work really well together. Great job!

Nice!
What kind of camera do you have, is it nice? I find that my Nikon Coolpics P510 can take way better photos of my boyfriend's artwork than my scanner can, if I use manual focus in natural light the outcomes are pretty good. Also if it doesn't come out perfect you can possibly edit when it's on the computer, I use iPhoto for that, which is a really easy editing program.

Thank you sooo much for this information. I should consider your valued advice and try using cameras more.
I have a puny Sony $45 from Amazon (20Mpixels advertised, 2MPixels quality ) and it is horrible so no using that.
But my baby daughter got a Nikon D5200 for her sweet sixteen, which I rarely borrow. That does take nice shots in daylight.
Above picture was scanned via my el-cheapo Cannon LiDe 25. it has started acting up, and colors are all washed or off-curve on blue+red.
I am desperate to scan a ton of my 30+years old A3 works, so I am researching for an A3 size flatbed but no reasonable results yet.
