my brother and his best friend did the same thing! my brother is a lot shorter than his friend (who's, like, NBA-bound) so David was Mario and Raffi was Luigi!

as for halloween....i didn't dress up! i gave out candy this year. i set up a bunch of candles and sat on my porch with the candles surrounding me and then turned off the lights in the house; i had the candy in a box with me. it was pretty creepy! but i didn't trick or treat or dress up. 
my brother and his friend looked pretty good! my brother's mustache kept falling off, but otherwise they were pretty funny. apparently a few kids yelled out to them "OMG MARRIRIIOOOO AND LUUIIGGII!"

XD this reminds me of the two plumbers that work around my area. ones tall and wears the Luigi get-up and the others small with a mustache and he wears the Mario get-up. i lol every time i see them XD

I like your costume. Nice, simple uses available materials. You need a wrench though, i think Luigi had one.
