im pretty sure you all saw Nick's Father's champion picture in the last comic. this should explain why some of them were crying. and his starter pokemon wasn't in the picturewhen i started my Diamond nuzlocke it was the first nuzlocke i ever played. i shose a piplup and named him after my grandfather, Arthur Nyfield. i caught Phylica first. Roman was caught in the cave en route to oreburgh. mable was from vally windworks. Amber from the forrest and i revived sebastian as soon as i got his fossil. so the only one in the team who never met Arthur was Tiberius
also. in the first Nuzlocke i ever played... Arthur was the first death...

I imagined her a sassy lass with a gentle heart for everyone (exept for my flirty Beedrill Bernie)
the same fight than took her took my new caught Zubat Crystal
that fight made me feel very guilty
but at least the good thing about a nuzlocke is sharing the story with others right?

Poor guy... I really like the tribute though, and this showing how much the rest of the team cared about him. You did a great job with the wording and comic, really pulled at my heart strings..Β Naming him after your grandfather really prolly made it hurt worse too ><;

My first nuzlocke run was a complete disaster. I haven't played since red and blue, and even then it was on borrowed time before I had to hand it back to my cousin. So I walked in pretty much blind to strengths and weaknesses. Ten deaths later I lost my starter and had to quit. Nearly a dozen dead pokemon was just too much, it wasn't fun anymore.

So I'm playing to learn on Black, and picked up a used copy of Diamond to do a nuzlocke run with that. Lessons have been learned and I'm doing a lot better at it this time around. My only regret is that my first try had some pokemon that would have been GREAT characters for a story (My Audino, Quinchavi, was sassy and nitpicky. But when it came to a fight she eventually proved herself to be a bruiser and was able to take punches that would leave higher level pokemon down for the count).

I really like how you're using a previous Nuzlocke to add depth to this world, make it clear that it isn't just a chance occurring that they die... It's an everyday part of the risk of being a trainer.

not exactally. in the nuzlocke chalange, if a pokemon gets KOd ingame, they are to be concidered dead and must be either releaced and placed on the PC

The Pokemon that affected me the most was my Luxio, Bejamin. there's a funny story with his name.

His name was supposed to be "Benjamin" i was listening to a Breaking Benjamin song at the time. It was too late to realise when i pressed the ok button for the name. i kept telling myself that i will change it when i find the name rater. But he lost his life after evolving and helping his friend Tori the Krukatune. Bejamin was killed by a Pachirisu.

There was this girl with a Pachirisu in the game, I kept battleing her with my Monferno. The last time I battled her my Monferno used Mach Punch and the Pachirisu survived with 1-2 hp left. I think that was Bejamin's way of saying to let go and don't be angry with the Pachirisu. I want a Pachirisu now.
