Yes, this is an original character I came up with last year, but never got to draw/paint properly. I only had doodles of this character in my class notes XD. He's supposed to be a sad and lonely prince who guards all living creatures of the ocean.
I'm glad the colours worked out because I was having real trouble with it. Those shades are my favourites and so I tried to integrate those shades of blue into the painting. Also designing the costume and overall look was quite challenging, but it makes me really happy that you like the design. And the fish were a last minute addition to get rid of an empty feeling, but I'm happy it worked out somehow. XD
