Yeah, you've got this Picasso vibe going on, which I think works really well with Star Trek, because Star Trek is super political like Picasso's work as well as super arcane at times, like Picasso's work.
But even when you're painting crazy on purpose, people can still notice a solid foundation in the artist's life drawing skills, so getting better at realism, like this, will always help your cause.

Yeah you're right. Β It's fun to veer off into crazy stuff, like I often do, but good to try to practice those life drawing skills sometimes.
