In deep forests ware Little trees could never get enough sun to grow due tot he Giant trees who's canopy blots out the sky Fruit chomps are born. These tiny bonsai sized trees grow one long impressive branch from which hangs a vine. at the end of the vine is a mouth resembling a fruit. Carnivorous but conspicuous these tress will find a willing host to carry them on there back so they can find more food. The host is then protected by the fruit chomp and gains a mental connection with it. The fruit chomp must always be good to its host because at any time though painful for both it could be abandoned.
Flavor text aside I'm really proud of these. A while back I challenged my self to create a tailmouth species that was not like any pony tailmouth species already out. After months of thought I came up with these. They are a closed species
