I really like the texture/painted effect you've achieved here - are you overlaying a little bit of a canvas texture partway through? Also curious what brush you're using in Painter - the opacity of the individual strokes is really nice.

but i painted it in photoshop, the brushstrokes effect achieved by smudge tool

Huh. I had no idea that good things could come of the smudge tool... the last time I used it was high school, though, so I have no idea how the current one works. I'll have to give it a shot the next time I'm playing around!
